Sticky Rice Siu Mai

Step 1
Soak the sticky rice for 12 hours or over night

Step 2
Coarsely chop the mushrooms.

Step 3
Heat up some oil on high heat, add pork to sauce until half cooked.

Step 4
Add the mushrooms and saute thoroughly.

Step 5
In a mixing bowl, combine the sticky rice with salt, soy sauce, ground white pepper, sesame oil

Step 6
Then add the sautéed pork and mushroommixture. Mix well.

Step 7
Place a spoonful of sticky rice mixture in the center of each siu mai wrappers, then gently squeeze to form the shape of siu mais.

Step 8
Steam the siu mai over water on high heat for 10 minutes. Ready to serve.
