Chinese mugwort is mashed and mixed into glutinous rice, with red bean fillings inside. You can see the Mochies are green and glistening after steaming. These sweet and soft balls are perfect snacks in QingMing.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Take the shoots in Chinese mugwort, blend them in 45g of water.

Step 2
Take the shoots in Chinese mugwort, blend them in 45g of water.

Step 3
Mix mashed Chinese mugwort with sugar and glutinous rice flour to a dough, then portion it into 3 pieces with 35g each.

Step 4
Mix mashed Chinese mugwort with sugar and glutinous rice flour to a dough, then portion it into 3 pieces with 35g each.

Step 5
Knead a piece of dough between hands, make it round and flatten (or use a rolling pin). Put some red bean fillings on

Step 6
Fold it, turn it upside down and shape to round again.
