Chicken with Chinese Cured Ham Over Mustard Green

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Wash and drain the mustard green and separate the leaves

Step 2
Cut the chicken thigh meat into small diced and marinade for 15-20 minutes

Step 3
Small dice the Chinese cured ham and minced the ginger

Step 4
Separate the egg yolk and white and slightly beat the egg white

Step 5
In a pan, add about 2 tablespoons oil on a medium high heat. Sauté the ginger until fragrant

Add the chicken thigh meat and cook until golden brown

Step 7
Transfer to the plate and set aside

In the same pan, add the mustard green and some water, cook for about 2 minutes until soft. Season with salt and sugar. Transfer to the serving plate

In a pot, add the chicken broth with the Chinese cured ham and bring it to boil. Then add the chicken meat with the broth

Bring it to boil add the egg white

Step 11
Thicken the sauce with the corn starch water

Step 12
Pour it over the mustard green and serve
