Chicken & Rice Cake Skewer with Char Siu Sauce

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Cut the chicken into pieces, marinade with char siu sauce for 15 minutes.

Step 2
Roughly chop the leek.

Step 3
Put rice cake into a microwave safe container, add water and microwave for 2 minutes over high heat. Soak until tender, drain and set aside.

Step 4
Thread the chicken onto skewers, followed by rice cake and leek.

Step 5
In medium heat, add oil and pan fry the skewers, 3 minutes each side with the lid on.

Step 6
Brush some more char siu sauce on both sides of the skewers, cook 30 secs more and ready to serve.
