French Baked Scallop with Cheese

Step 1
Preheat an oven to 210°C. Cover the baking tray with foil and set aside.

Step 2
Chop the button mushrooms, carrot, onion and garlic.

Step 3
Rinse the scallops, pat dry completely with kitchen paper and put them back on the shells. Place on the baking tray.

Step 4
In a pan, melt the butter on medium heat. Add button mushrooms, carrot, onion, garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Step 5
Add all-purpose flour and mix well.

Step 6
Add milk and whipping cream. Stir until smooth and cook until thickened.

Step 7
Season with salt and black pepper.

Step 8
Drizzle over the scallops. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and bread crumbs.

Bake for 4-6 minutes or until golden brown. Ready to serve.
