Shrimp Roll

The shrimp roll consists of shrimp paste, minced pork and water chestnuts which gives a more complicated texture to the dish.

Step 1
Peel and chop the water chestnuts. Dice the green onions and set aside.

Step 2
Rinse and pat dry the shrimps. Flatten with a knife and mince.

Step 3
Add water chestnuts, minced pork, green onions, egg white, rice wine, salt, ground white pepper, grated ginger, sesame oil, corn starch and mix well.

Step 4
Place filling on the wonton wrapper and roll. Fix with some water at the edge.

Step 5
Heat some oil and deep fry the shrimp roll until golden brown. Transfer to kitchen paper to remove excess oil. Ready to serve.
