Stuffed Cheesy Hamburger Steak with Mushroom Sauce

Men love eating meat but it is hard to cook the steak to a perfect doneness. Try this hamburger steak. Even a beginner can handle it well. And the cheese inside is a magic.

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Cut the potato and carrot into pieces.

Step 2
Toss together the potato, carrot, olive oil, Italian seasoning, cayenne pepper, salt and black pepper

Transfer to the baking try and roast for 20-30 minutes until golden brown and tender

Step 4
Prepare the hamburger steak: Finely mince the onion

Step 5
In a bowl, mix together the onion, ground beef, ground pork, egg, breadcrumb, water, Italian seasoning, salt and black pepper

Form the meat into patties. Add cheese on the meat. Add some more meat and form into patties

In a pan, add some oil on a medium heat. Cook the burger until golden brown on both side and place in the oven and cook it for 5 minutes. (adjust the time depends on your preference on the doneness on the burger steak)

Prepare the mushroom sauce: Slice the mushroom

In a pan, melt the butter and some oil. Sauté the garlic and mushroom until fragrant

Deglaze with the red wine and add the all-purpose flour to mix into a roux

Add the chicken broth and whisk until there is no lump. Bring the sauce to boil then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes or until the sauce has thickened. Season with some black pepper

Place the roasted vegetable, hamburger steak on the plate and pour the mushroom sauce over the steak. Ready to serve
