Taiwanese Soy-stewed Pork

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Put pork belly into a pot of cold water. Heat with medium low heat.

Step 2
Cut the pork belly into pieces (about 3 cm each) after it is cooked.

Step 3
In a pot, add some oil, sauté green onion, ginger, garlic and chilli until fragrant. Then stir fry the pork.

Step 4
Add two brands of soy sauce. Then add rock sugar and dark soy sauce.

Step 5
Add water and Chinese cooking wine. The liquid has to cover the pork. The ratio of the water and wine is 1:1.

Step 6
Add a bag of seasoning for stewing. Heat with medium heat for 90 minutes.
