Ginger Honey Rice Cake

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Spread a layer of oil on the cake containers.

Step 2
Whisk together the sticky rice flour and 40mL water.

Step 3
Mix together the glutinous rice flour, Chrysanthemum Ginger Honey, remaining water and oil. Stir until fluffy and creamy.

Step 4
Add sticky rice flour mixture. Mix well and sieve.

Step 5
Pour into the containers. Steam for 1.5 hours and do not open the lid when steaming. Ready to serve.

Step 6
Tips: 1. This recipe can make 2 blocks of rice cakes with each about 700mL. 2. As rice cake will not be overcooked, no need to open the lid to check the status when steaming. 3. It may be served in cold or hot after pan-fried.
