Mushroom Minced Pork Rice
Recipe Details
It is easier than you may think to make minced pork in Taiwanese style. You may finish cooking it within an hour and by adding a secret ingredient, peanut sauce!

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
In a pot, bring water to boil and blanch the pork belly for 3 minutes or until half cooked. Drain and let cool. Dice and set aside.

Step 2
In a pan, add some oil on a medium heat. Add pork belly, minced pork and stir fry until half cooked.

Step 3
Add Shiitake mushroom, minced garlic, shallots and sauté until fragrant.

Step 4
4. Add rice wine, rock sugar, water, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, egg and bring to boil again.

Step 5
Add white pepper, peanut butter and mix well. Cook until peanut butter melted and the sauce thickened.

Step 6
Serve rice with mushroom minced pork.
