Rice Cooker Japanese Cheese Cake

You have to use oven to bake cakes? Of course NOT! You can use the rice cooker at your home. Try this lazy recipe this weekend!

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
In a mixing bowl, whip together the cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice and egg

Step 2
Gradually add the whipping cream and mix well. Sieve in the flour and whisk until no lumps

Step 3
Pour the batter in the rice cooker bowl and press the start button until the cake is done. (Stick the toothpick in the center, if it comes out clean then is done).

Step 4
Remove the rice cooker bowl and let cool in room temperature.

Step 5
Place in the fridge and refrigerate for an hour to let it firm up. Remove the cake from the rice cooker bowl and ready to serve.
