Winter Melon and Dried Scallop with Pork Liver Soup

Winter melon is a good ingredient to make a soup during summer time. Adding the pork liver, pork meat and scallop to season. All the ingredients are fast cooking, so it will not take too much time to make this soup.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Remove the skin and seed of the winter melon. Cut it into pieces

Step 2
Peel and slice the ginger

Step 3
Slice the pork and marinate with Chinese cooking wine, corn starch, light soy sauce and white pepper for 5 minutes

Step 4
Clean and rinse the pork liver. Cut into thin slice and marinate with Chinese cooking wine, light soy sauce, ginger juice, corn starch and white pepper for 5 minutes

Step 5
Wash and soak the dried scallop until soft

Step 6
Drain and set aside

Step 7
In a pot, bring 1.5L water and the dried scallop to boil

Step 8
Add the ginger, winter melon and pork. Cook it for 15 minutes

Step 9
Add the pork liver and cook until the pork and pork liver is fully cook

Step 10
Season with salt and white pepper. Ready to serve
