Wild Rice with Mushroom and Herb

Wild rice is rich in proteins and chewy. Mix together with white rice and cook with herbs, onions and carrots! Easy and healthy.

Step 1
Dice the onion and carrot. Slice the button mushrooms. Mince the garlic. Rinse and drain the white rice. Soak the wild rice overnight.

Step 2
Bring wild rice, white rice, chicken broth, bay leaves and salt to boil on medium heat. Reduce to medium low heat and cook for 20-30 minutes.

Step 3
In a pan, add some oil on medium heat. Add butter and melt. Add garlic, onion, carrot and sauté until fragrant.

Step 4
Add button mushrooms and Italian seasoning. Sauté until fragrant.

Step 5
Add wild rice and white rice. Mix well. Ready to serve.
