Step 1
Soak and rinse the red dates, cassia twig, ai ye, Chinese angelica root, blast-fried ginger and set aside.

Step 2
Bring some water to boil. Add pork and blanch for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Step 3
In a pot, add red dates, cassia twig, ai ye, Chinese angelica root, pork, 6 bowls of water and bring to boil on medium high heat. Reduce to medium low heat and cook for 45 minutes.

Step 4
Sieve and pour into a bowl with donkey-hide glue powder and red sugar. Mix well and ready to serve.
