Vietnamese Bánh mì Sandwich

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Cut carrot and onion into shreds. Slice cucumber and Vietnamese sausages.

Step 2
In a bowl, add salt to the carrot and onion to draw out excess liquid.

Step 3
Drain the vegetable, add white vinegar, sugar, salt and mix well. Put in fridge and marinade for 30 minutes.

Step 4
Slice the baguette horizontally, brush some olive oil and bake at 200C for 10 minutes until crispy.

Step 5
Mix together the mayonnaise and sriracha sauce.

Step 6
Spread some sauce on baguette, then layer with cucumber, Vietnamese sausages, pickled carrot and onion. Top with some Chinese parsley and ready to serve!
