Vegetarian Sandwich with Focaccia Bread

Being a vegetarian does not have to be boring. Try this crispy homemade Focaccia bread stuffed with tangy avocado salad. Your meat-eating friends will be jealous!

Step 1
To make focaccia bread, melt the yeast and sugar in the warm water. Mix together

In the mixer by using the hook, add the flour, oil, yeast water and mix them into the dough

Add some flour on the surface area, and knead the dough until the dough is not sticky

In a bowl, add some oil at the bottom and place the dough inside. Cover with plastic and let it rise for an hour in room temperature

While waiting for the dough to proof. Preparing the spread, chopped the rosemary

Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit and place in the bowl

Add the chick peas, lemon juice, salt and olive oil. Use the fork to mix it to combine

When the dough is about double the size, knead one more time

Then place the dough flat on the baking pan, and let it rise for another 20 minutes to double the size
