Tuna Ceviche with Avocado and Cilantro

Step 1
Thin slice the red onion.

Step 2
Chop the cilantro.

Step 3
Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit and skin. Cut into strips.

Step 4
Freeze the tuna for about 15-20 minutes until slightly firm then cut then tuna in strips.

Step 5
In a mixing bowl, combine the red onion, lime juice and tuna. Slightly toss to mix well.

Step 6
Cover with plastic and refrigerate for 45 minutes, make sure gently toss it every 15 minutes to avoid color changes.

Step 7
Add the avocado and cilantro before serving to avoid the avocado turning brown.

Step 8
Season with salt and ready to serve.
