Step 1
Mix together milk, eggs, sugar and vanilla extract.

Step 2
Soak and refrigerate the bread in the milk for 6-8 hours.

Step 3
Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

Step 4
In a pan, melt the butter and sear the bread until golden brown on both sides.

Step 5
Place the bread on a baking tray. Bake for 10 minutes.

Step 6
Garnish with maple syrup. Ready to serve.
