Peel and dice the taro. Bring a pot of water to boil. Add sago and cook for 5 minutes. Keep stirring while cooking.

Remove from heat. Cover the lid and set for 5 minutes or until the sago is fully cooked. Transfer to cold water to let cool and drain.

Step 3
Bring the water to boil. Add taro and cook on medium heat for 20-25 minutes or until the taro is softened.

Step 4
Add rock sugar and cook until melted.

Add sago and cook for a while. Serve with evaporated milk.
