Step 1
Cut the boneless chicken thigh meat into pieces and mince the garlic.

Step 2
Mix together the fermented bean curd, five spice powder, minced garlic, brown sugar, light soy sauce and rice wine.

Step 3
Add the chicken and corn starch. Mix well and marinate for at least 1 hour.

Step 4
Coat with sweet potato starch and rest for 10 minutes.

Step 5
In a pan, add some oil on medium heat. Add the chicken and fry until golden brown.

Step 6
Ready to serve
