Taiwan Peppercorn Spicy Hot Pot

Step 1
Slice the fish into ½-cm thick fillets

Step 2
Cut the tofu into medium-sized cubes. Set aside

Step 3
In a pot, heat up some oil on medium high heat. Add shallot and ginger to sauté until aromatic. Add chicken broth and water. Bring to a boil

Step 4
Add the seasoning ingredients and mix well. Add tofu to boil along with bean sprouts, carrots and Chinese celery, about 3 minutes

Step 5
Add fish fillets to boil for 1 minute and turn off the heat

Step 6
Top with chopped cilantro and peanuts. Serve with white rice
