Sweet Soy Sauce Chicken Wings

Step 1
Bring a pot of water to boil. Add chicken wings, blanch for 2-3 minutes and drain.

Step 2
Cook the chicken wings, water, Koon Chun Superior First Extract Soy Sauce, rock sugar and anise star on high heat. Bring to boil.

Step 3
Reduce to medium heat and cook for 15 minutes. Flip over the chicken wings every 5 minutes to make sure they are evenly coated with sauce.

Step 4
Transfer the chicken wings to a plate.

Step 5
Increase to medium high heat and cook the sauce until thickened. Drizzle over the chicken wings.

Step 6
Ready to serve

Tip: The ratio of Koon Chun Superior First Extract Soy Sauce and water is 1:5. You may adjust the amount accordingly.
