Peel and cut the lotus into medium sized pieces

Combine flour, salt, chicken powder, water. Mix well.

Combine the sweet and sour sauce ingredients.

Dip lotus into flour mixture

Step 6
Deep fry until golden

Step 7
Cook the sweet and sour sauce in a pot

Add the deep fried lotus

Step 9
Mix well

Step 10
Transfer to plate

Add sesame oil
