Sweet Potato and Striped Bass Soup

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Peel and rinse the sweet potato. Cut into 1cm pieces. Slice the ginger.

Step 2
In a dry pan, add the ginger and cook until golden brown.

Step 3
Remove the ginger and save for later use. Add some oil in the pan.

Step 4
Pat dry the fish and slightly cut the fish on the side. Add the fish in a heated pan, cook until golden brown on both sides.

Step 5
Add the ginger back and the sweet potato.

Step 6
Transfer to the shallow pot, add enough water to cover the fish. Bring it to boil and cook for 30 minutes.

Step 7
Season with salt and ready to serve.
