Sweet and Sour Vegetarian Chicken Roll

Step 1
Peel and cut the carrot into strip

Slice the celery into strip

Trim the ends off the vegetarian chicken. Cut the chicken about ½ cm thick, do not cut through. Move the knife up and down and slowly roll the chicken to form into a sheet

Small dice the red and yellow bell pepper

Cut the nori sheet into half

In a pan, add some oil on a medium heat. Sauté the carrot and celery until soft. Let cool and set aside

Place the chicken sheet over the nori sheet. Add the carrot and celery in the middle and roll it up

Use some water to seal the edge to secure. Dust some corn starch over the roll

In a pan, add some oil on a medium heat. Slight sear the roll until golden brown

Let cool and cut into diagonal

To make the sweet and sour sauce, combine the ketchup, sugar and white vinegar togeth

Bring it to simmer and cook for 5 minutes

Add the red and yellow pepper, quick stir.
