Step 1
Wash the squids, but the squid heads and peel of the outer skin. The squid should be white in color. Set aside.

Step 2
Spoon the sticky rice inside the squid. Close the opening with a toothpick, much like using a noodle.

Step 3
Coat the squid with some dark soy sauce to darken the color of the squid. In a sauté pan, heat up 1 teaspoon of oil on high heat. Pan fry the squid until golden on both sides, about 3-4 minutes on each side.

Step 4
Let the squid cool for a minute before slicing into 1-inch thick pieces. Serve hot.
