Stuffed Shrimp Paste in Baby Bok Choy

This tulip-like baby bok choy is not only beautiful, its shrimp paste filling is rich in protein, which is also good for your skin.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Wash and rinse the baby bok choy. Trim off the ends and cut off the leaves

Step 2
In a bowl, add the shrimp paste, Chinese cured ham, chopped cilantro, corn starch, Chinese cooking wine, sesame oil, salt, white pepper and marinate for 10 minutes

Step 3
Stuff the shrimp paste inside the baby bok choy and steam it for 15 minutes until the shrimp is cook and the baby bok choy is soft.

Step 4
In a pan, bring the chicken broth to boil and slowly add the corn starch water until thicken

Step 5
Pour it over the baby bok choy and ready to serve
