Stuffed Bitter Melon with Tofu and Pork

SanSui Pan-fried Tofu
Ingredients

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Slice the bitter melons with 3 cm thick. Seed and set aside.

Step 2
Soak the SanSui Pan-fried Tofu in salt water for 20-30 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Step 3
Mix together with minced pork, grated ginger, 1 tbsp light soy sauce, Chinese cooking wine, 1 tsp sugar and corn starch.

Step 4
Stuff the bitter melon rings with tofu and pork mixture.

Step 5
Coat both sides of the bitter melon rings with extra corn starch. In a pan, add some oil on medium heat. Sear stuffed bitter melons until golden brown on both sides.

Step 6
Mix together oyster sauce, the remaining light soy sauce, sugar and water. Add into the pot and bring to boil. Cover the lid and cook for 2-3 minutes. Ready to serve.
