Stir-fried Snow Pea and Squid in Shrimp Paste

Snow peas are sweet and crispy. Stir-fry them together with fresh squid and shrimp paste. A very easy and tempting dish!

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Remove strings of snow peas and mince the garlic. Rinse and clean the squids. Remove the skin, score the squids and cut into pieces. Marinate with Chinese cooking wine and minced ginger for 10 minutes.

Step 2
Mix together shrimp paste, rice wine, sugar and water.

Step 3
Bring a pot of water to boil. Add squids and blanch for 30 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Step 4
In a pan, add some oil on medium heat. Add minced garlic, sliced ginger and sauté until fragrant. Add snow peas and sauté for 1-2 minutes.

Step 5
Add squids and shrimp paste sauce. Mix well and ready to serve.
