Stir-fry Prawn with Ketchup is a homey dish in Hong Kong family. Just slightly change the sauce then it becomes another dish. Spicy and sour gives a sweet and sour flavor and it makes the dish tastier.

Mince the garlic and shallot

Step 2
Finely chop the onion

Clean and devein the shrimp

Step 4
In a mixing bowl, mix together the water, ketchup, chili sauce, sugar and salt

In a pan, add some oil on a medium high heat. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes

Step 6
Add the Chinese cooking wine, transfer to the plate and set aside

Step 7
In a pan, add some oil on a medium heat. Sauté the garlic, shallot and onion until fragrant

Add the shrimp

Step 9
Add the sauce mixture and cook until the shrimps coated with the sauce

Transfer to the plate
