Stir-fried Pork Loin with Garlic Shoot and Black Fungus

This dish is a traditional dish from Shanxi. Shanxi people love cooking with vinegar so this typical Shanxi dish has black vinegar as seasoning.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Rinse and slice the pork loin. Clean and cut the garlic shoot into sections. Soak the black fungus until soft, remove the core and cut into pieces.

Step 2
In a bowl, beat the egg and mix in the corn starch. Add in the pork loin and mix together.

Step 3
In a pan, add enough oil for deep-fry. Add the pork loin and make sure is separated. Fry it until golden brown on medium high heat. Drain and set aside.

Step 4
In the same pan, discard the excess oil and sauté the garlic shoot and black fungus until fragrant.

Step 5
Add the pork loin, multi seasoning powder, salt and mix well.

Step 6
Add the dark soy sauce, vinegar and some water. Bring it to boil over high heat and cook until the sauce has thickened. Ready to serve.
