Step 1
Clean the crab. Open the shell and cut into 6 pieces. Cut the leg into 2 sections. Slightly pound the claws.

Peel and slice the ginger. Slice the leeks.

In a pot, add enough water and cook the rice cake for 3-5 minutes until soft. Drain and set aside.

In a pan, add oil on a high heat. Sauté the ginger, leeks

Add crab and quick stir for 3-5 minutes and set aside.

In a pan, add oil on a high heat. Sauté the rice cake until golden brown.

Step 7
Add the crab, Chinese cooking wine, light soy sauce, sugar and cook for 2 minutes.

Add water and bring it to boil then reduce to low heat and cover the lid and cook for 5 minutes.

Cook until the sauce has thickened over high heat, transfer to the plate, sprinkle with chopped green onion and ready to serve.
