Stir-fried Beef with Instant Noodle

Instant noodle is usually served in soup but since cha chaan teng, aka tea restaurant, started selling fried instant noodle, it becomes a classic local dish.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Slice the beef and marinate with water, Chinese cooking wine, light soy sauce, corn starch and white pepper for 15 minutes.

Step 2
Slice the onion, carrot and red chili pepper.

Step 3
Slice the ginger and garlic.

Step 4
In a pot, bring the water to boil and cook the instant noodles until loosen. Rinse with cold water, drain and set aside.

Step 5
In a pan, add some oil on a medium high heat. Sauté the garlic and ginger until fragrant. Add the beef and sauté half way cook and set aside.

Step 6
In the same pan, add some oil and sauté the onion, carrot, bean sprout and quick stir.

Step 7
Add the beef and instant noodles and toss well. Add the light soy sauce, dark soy sauce and stir until then noodles has coated with the sauce.

Step 8
Sprinkle with green onion, red chili pepper and sesame oil. Toss well and transfer to the plate.

Step 9
Sprinkle with white sesame seeds and ready to serve.
