Stewed Rice with Braised Pork

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Rinse and chop the pork belly.

Step 2
Marinate the ground white pepper, Chinese cooking wine and sliced ginger for 20 minutes.

Step 3
Peel and chop the potato. Slice the white mushrooms and red chili pepper.

Step 4
Heat a pan with some oil. Add sugar and stir on low heat until dark. Add pork, dark soy sauce, red chili pepper, Sichuan peppercorn powder, light soy sauce, salt and water. Stir well, cook until boiled and reduce to low heat. Cook for 25 minutes.

Step 5
Add mushrooms and Sichuan peppercorn powder. Cook for 3 minutes and add rice. Stir well and ready to serve.
