Stewed Crab with Beer

Had tried a tasty beer crab in a Vietnamese restaurant. In fact, using Chinese cooking method can also be delicious! Match it with garlic, ginger, Chinese cooking wine and immerse the crab in the beer and braise it with extra beer. When the alcohol evaporates after cook then the rest will be left the flavor of the wheat from the beer and the crab.

Step 1
Clean the crab. Mince the garlic. Peel and slice the ginger. Cut the cilantro in section.

Step 2

Marinate the crab with 300mL beer.

Step 4
In a pan, add oil and sauté the ginger, garlic, crab and Chinese cooking wine. Stir well.

Step 5
Add the remaining of the beer, sugar and salt. Cover the lid and cook for 15-20 minutes until the crab is fully cooked.

Step 6
Cook until the sauce has thickened over high heat. Sprinkle with cilantro and ready to serve.
