Steamed Water Chestnut and Black Fungus Pork Patty

Although no fat meat is added in this recipe, this pork patty is still juicy and tender. The chopped water chestnuts and black fungus give a more complicated texture to the patty.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Peel and chop the water chestnuts. Soak and chop the black fungus.

Step 2
Mix together minced pork, oyster sauce, granulated sugar, white pepper and Chinese cooking wine.

Step 3
Add corn starch water, sesame oil and mix until thickened. Keep stirring and slapping the minced shrimp into a bowl until sticky.

Step 4
Add water chestnuts, black fungus, instant oats and mix well. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours.

Step 5
Place on a steam plate and flatten. Steam for 15 minutes on medium high heat and ready to serve.
