Steamed Luffa with Double Garlic and Dried Scallop

Luffa is another important ingredient to expel dampness. Layer on top with some stir-fried garlic, dried shrimps and scallops and turn it into a very tempting dish on the dining table.

Step 1
Soak and shred the dried scallops. Soak the dried shrimps and vermicelli until soft. Peel and cut the luffa into pieces. Dice the green onion and set aside.

Step 2
In a pan, add some oil on medium heat. Reserve some garlic and sauté the rest until fragrant on low heat.

Step 3
Add dried scallops and dried shrimps. Sauté until fragrant and season with some salt.

Step 4
Mix together the vermicelli, sesame oil and light soy sauce. Layer on a plate. Layer luffa, stir-fried garlic, dried scallops, dried shrimps and raw garlic on top.

Step 5
Steam on medium high heat for 8-10 minutes. Sprinkle with green onion. Ready to serve.
