Steamed Lotus Leaf Wrapped Chicken Rice with Lotus Seed

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Soak lotus leaf and lotus seed by hot water for half an hour

Step 2
Soak mushroom, dried shrimps and rice separately

Step 3
Cut chicken thigh into pieces. Add soy cause, sugar and oil

Step 4
Dice the mushroom, mix it well with chicken thigh, dried shrimps and rice. Add oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar and salt

Step 5
Wrap the mixed ingredients with lotus leaf, closing up with rope

Step 6
Bring a pot of water to boil. Steam the lotus leaf pack over water for 45 minutes. Ready to serve
