Steamed Eggplant and Tofu with Chili Pepper

Using the steaming method which can remain the nutrition of the ingredient and the dish can keep its original flavour. Simply steam the eggplant and tofu then drizzle with chili pepper, garlic, soy sauce and other seasoning. Let the eggplant and tofu absorbs the sauce and become good dish for rice.

Step 1
Slice the tofu and cut the eggplant into strips. Mince the garlic and chop the green onion.

Step 2
Place the tofu on the bottom of the plate and lay the eggplant over.

Step 3
Steam over high heat for 5-10 minutes.

Step 4
In a pan, add some oil and sauté the garlic until fragrant. Add the minced chili pepper, light soy sauce, white pepper and stir well.

Step 5
Pour the sauce over the eggplant tofu, sprinkle with green onion and ready to serve.
