Steamed Egg White with Seafood

Egg is rich in protein. With seafood on top, this steamed egg white is healthy and tasty.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Dice the scallops, shrimps and choy sum stems. Remove the steams of shiitake mushrooms and dice.

Step 2
Marinate the scallops with salt, white pepper and sesame oil for 10 minutes.

Step 3
Gently beat the egg white. Mix well with 150mL chicken broth. Transfer to a steam plate.

Step 4
Remove the bubbles with a kitchen towel on the surface. Wrap with plastic wrap and steam on medium high heat for 10 minutes.

Step 5
In a pan, add some oil on medium heat. Add scallops, shrimps, shiitake mushrooms, choy sum stems. Stir-fry until cooked.

Step 6
dd the remaining chicken broth and bring to boil. Add corn starch solution and cook until thickened.

Step 7
Pour over the egg white. Ready to serve.
