Steamed Egg Custard with Fresh Clams and Bean Curd

Step 1
Heat oil and sauté garlic. Add in fresh clams, stir-fry on medium heat and then simmer on low heat for 4 minutes. Serve clams and the juice.

Step 2
Beat eggs and add in water, 4 tbsp clam juice and the seasonings.

Step 3
Place tofu, clams and shrimps into 4 Japanese teacups. Add in the egg wash then place the teacups into steamer. Bring to boil over medium heat then simmer on low heat for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with green onion and serve.
