Steamed Chicken with Chinese Ham in Lotus Leaf

Step 1
Soak the lotus leaf until soft. Soak the dried mushrooms, remove the stems and slice. Slice the Chinese ham. Cut the green onion into sections and set aside.

Step 2
Marinate the chicken with light soy sauce, Chinese cooking wine, sugar, salt, ground white pepper, corn starch and sesame oil for 1 hour.

Step 3
Place the lotus leaf on a bamboo steamer. Layer ginger, green onion, chicken, mushrooms and Chinese ham on top and wrap it well.

Step 4
Steam for 20-25 minutes on medium high heat. Ready to serve.
