Steamed Beef with Hot Pickled Mustard, Fried Tofu and Rice Vermicelli

Steamed beef is tender. Fried tofu and rice vermicelli absorb the meat juice. This simple recipe is perfect for rice!

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Soak the vermicelli until soft, drain and place it on the plate.

Step 2
Cut the dried bean curd in halves.

Step 3
Slice the beef and marinade with Chinese cooking wine, light soy sauce, sugar, corn starch, white pepper and water for 20 minutes.

Step 4
Soak the hot pickled mustard for 20-30 minutes. Drain and set aside.Mix together the beef, hot pickled mustard, fried bean curd and place it over the vermicelli.

Step 5
Steam it for 10-12 minutes.

Step 6
Sprinkle with chopped green onion and ready to serve.
