Steamed Beef Patties with Dried Orange Peel

With dried orange peel, the steamed beef has a richer flavor and the texture is tender. With crunchy water chestnut, this is an excellent family dish!

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Soak the dried orange peel until soft and finely chop.

Step 2
Chop the cilantro stem and slightly smash the water chestnut and rough chop.

Step 3
Mince the beef and cut the pork fat into small pieces.

Step 4
In a mixing bowl, add the beef, Chinese cooking wine, light soy sauce, corn starch, sugar, white pepper and water. Mix well.

Step 5
Add the pork fat, water chestnut, cilantro, orange peel, some oil and mix together.

Step 6
Transfer to the plate and steam it for 5-8 minutes or until the beef is fully cooked.

Step 7
Sprinkle with some chopped cilantro and ready to serve.
