Spicy Squid Salad

With the Korean chili sauce and honey, the springy squid and crisp cucumber become an amazing Korean style appetizer you cannot stop eating!

Step 1
Slice the onion and cucumber. Cut the cherry tomatoes in halves

Step 2
Clean the squid. Slightly cut the surface with crisscross pattern and cut into pieces

Step 3
In a pot, bring the water to boil and blanch the squid for a minute. Drain and set aside

Step 4
Mix together the minced garlic, minced ginger, Korean chili sauce, rice vinegar, honey, light soy sauce and sesame oil

Step 5
Toss the squid with onion, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, garlic, ginger and the sauce

Step 6
Sprinkle with green onion, cilantro and white sesame seeds. Ready to serve
