Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Rinse the garlic sprouts. Julienne the stem (white part) and chop the leaves (green part). Julienne the leak and set aside.

Step 2
Prepare the beef broth. In a pot, add water, beef, kombu, garlic and Sichuan pepper. Cook on high heat for 30 minutes. Remove the kombu and cook on medium heat for 1 hour.

Step 3
Remove from heat. Take out the beef and slice. Remove other ingredient and reserve the broth.

Step 4
Prepare the spicy sauce. In a pan, add sesame oil and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant. Add chili powder, garlic sprout leaves, black pepper, anchovies, soy sauce and salt. Stir well.

Step 5
Add Onion, garlic sprout stems, beef, broth and bean sprouts. Bring to boil.

Step 6
Transfer to a plate and ready to serve.
