Spicy Beef Quesadillas

It feel complicate to make the Mexican Quesadillas because need to cut the ingredients into small pieces. But when having the bite, it gather the different flovors which bring from the variety of the ingredients and feel worthwhile.

Step 1
Prepare the tomato salsa. Small dice the tomato and red onion

Step 2
In a mixing bowl, toss together the tomato, onion, lime juice, cilantro, green onion, salt and pepper

Step 3
Refrigerate for an hour before serve

Step 4
In another mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground chili pepper, ground cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt and black pepper. Marinate for 15 minutes

Step 5
In a pan, add some oil on a medium high heat. Sauté the onion until fragrant, add the beef and cook for 5 minutes until the beef is fully cook. Transfer to the plate and set aside

Step 6
Place a tortilla on a dry pan on a medium heat

Step 7
Add the cooked beef and spread it evenly, sprinkle with the cheese and cilantro

Step 8
Place another tortilla on top, cook until the bottom tortilla is crispy, flip it over and cook until the cheese is slightly melt

Serve with sour cream and tomato salsa
