Recipe Details
Souffle is a famous French dessert that born in the middle age. In French, “Souffle” means “Breath” in English. To steam bake the milk and egg white until the white rise in a short period. The fragrance of milk left in you mouth while the Souffle melts when your lips touch it. The dizzy first kiss and shower of blossom flower will fill your heart. Warm, romantic and unforgettable.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
1.Grease the inner wall of the mould with yellow butter, pour castor sugar inside the mould and shake it until they absorb on the wall of the mould thoroughly.

Step 2
2.Heat and melt the yellow butter and pour into the strong flour, stir well.

Step 3
3.Use a pot to boil the milk with 20g of icing sugar.

Step 4
4.Pour the boiled milk into the mixture in step 2 with stirring.

Step 5
5.After stir and mix, sift the mixture back to the pot.

Step 6
6.Boil on low heat and stir until the the mixture is thick, remove from heat and let it cool down for 10 minutes.

Step 7
7.Separate the egg yolk and white, adding the yolk into the mixture in step 6 and stir well.

Step 8
7.Separate the egg yolk and white, adding the yolk into the mixture in step 6 and stir well.

Step 9
9.Pour and stir ⅓ of the egg white into the mixture in step 7, pour back to the remaining egg white, and beat it until it becomes batter.

Step 10
10.Pour the batter into the prepared mould until it is 8/10 full.

Step 11
11.Preheat the oven to 160 degree celcius, put the mould into oven and bake for 15 minutes or until well rise, and the top of it is golden brown.

Step 12
12.Use powdered sugar to decorate the soffle after taking out from the oven, immediately serve is recommended.
