Sichuan Spicy Fish and Tofu Hot Pot

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Soak jelly noodle in warm water until soft and cut into strips

Step 2
Soak the mustard green and sliced

Step 3
Minced the garlic and ginger

Step 4
Chopped the cilantro and green onion. Separate the green and white part

Soak the dried shrimp and rough chopped

Step 6
Drain the tofu and slice

Step 7
Clean and thin slice the fish and marinade for 15 minutes

In a pot, add oil on a medium high heat. Sauté the garlic, ginger, dried shrimp, white part of green onion, Sichuan pepper and dried chili pepper until fragrant

Step 9
Add about 1L water, bring it to boil and add the sour mustard. Bring the broth to boil and cook it for 20 minutes

Step 10
Transfer the soup to the serving wok and turn the heat to medium. Add the jelly noodle and cook until tender about 5-8 minutes

Add tofu and soy bean and cook for another 5 minutes

Step 12
Spread the fish on top until the fish is fully cooked. Sprinkle with cilantro and serve
