Sichuan Ma Po Tofu

This recipe is a very popular mapo tofu. Apart from its spicy flavour, another uniqueness is the use of low fat ingredients. This makes the dish more nutritious as well as have a bit spiciness. What's more, it won't make you fat.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1
Cut tofu into large cubes and reserve.

Step 2
Rinse and dice chili pepper.

Step 3
Add sweetener with soy bean paste and reserve.

Step 4
Remove skin of garlic and mince fine. Marinate mince pork and reserve.

Step 5
Preheat pan and sauté garlic. Add mince pork and cook until half done. Add chili, soy bean paste and chili soy bean paste and stir gently. Add water and cook until pork is well done. Add tofu and cook for 30seconds and it is ready to plate and serve hot.
